Restaurant Series: Moltaqa Vancouver

The first thing I noticed about the restaurant is its authentic ambience which really whisks you away to Morocco. It has a beautiful and classy decor with Moroccan furnishings to enjoy the food in a Moroccan-ish setting. It is also located in a convenient downtown location, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core.

Furthermore, it has a succinct menu which allowed visitors to sample various Moroccan dishes without being overwhelmed. Definitely ask the waiter for recommendations. The food was all delicious. The service was a tad slow at some points, but overall very friendly.

The Zaglouk is a Moroccan stew comprising roasted eggplant, tomatoes and bell peppers. We tasted the spices infused with vegetables, which were evenly simmered throughout.
